At MenoThrive, our mission is to empower Black and diverse women with the knowledge, support, and resources to navigate menopause and embrace this new phase of life with confidence, health, and vitality.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every woman feels seen, supported, and celebrated during her menopause journey. Through culturally informed education, accessible resources, and a strong community, we aim to redefine menopause as a time of growth, resilience, and empowerment.


About the Founder
Farah Lahens
Farah Lahens, the CEO and Founder of MenoThrive Wellness, Social Service Worker, is a dedicated advocate for women’s health and well-being. With over a decade of experience in social services, Farah is a Certified Peer Worker in Mental Health and a Certified Menopause Coach. Her expertise is rooted in a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and cultural challenges that Black and diverse women face during menopause.



Farah created MenoThrive to provide a safe, empowering space for women to navigate menopause while focusing on culturally informed care and holistic support. With a commitment to wellness, she ensures MenoThrive offers comprehensive resources, including peer coaching, education, and healing programs like yoga classes.

At MenoThrive Wellness, Inc., we recognize that grief isn’t always about losing a loved one—it can also be about losing parts of yourself during the menopause journey. The shifts in identity, body, and emotions can feel like a profound loss, making it essential to create space for healing and transformation.



That’s why we are thrilled to introduce Crystal Thagard, a compassionate force behind Mourning Doves Holistic Healing, a sanctuary for those navigating grief. Her work extends beyond bereavement she understands that grief can take many forms, including mourning the self we once knew.
More than a yoga teacher, Crystal is a dedicated student of healing, deeply connected to ancient sacred techniques that guide others through their darkest moments. With a passion for yoga and holistic healing, she brings warmth, wisdom, and transformative tools to our community helping women reclaim their light and embrace this new chapter with strength and grace.

Our Menopause 101 Workshop is designed to educate and empower. Participants will learn understanding stages of hormonal changes, managing symptoms naturally, building a personalized self-care routine, nutrition and lifestyle tips for thriving.

Sankofa Sistah’s Circle for Black Women’s Mental Health & Self-Care
A sacred, healing space designed exclusively for Black women of Afro-Caribbean heritage to unite, uplift one another, and prioritize mental well-being. Rooted in the Menothrive wellness philosophy, our circle blends cultural wisdom, holistic wellness, and sisterhood to nurture the mind, body, and spirit.
Guided by the Akan Adinkra symbol Sankofa—meaning ‘return and fetch it’—we honor the lessons of our past to strengthen our present and shape a healthier future. This space is a refuge where we embrace vulnerability, share experiences, and equip ourselves with mental, emotional, and spiritual resilience tools.
